These are definitely the most flavorful and tasty jalapeno chips that Chip Review has tasted since we tasted Laurel Hill’s Jalapeno Chips (which we consider to be the very best out there). Herr’s crunchy, kettle cooked chips have a wonderfully scrumptious combination of flavors coating them. Included in the ingredients of these chips are: spices (we assume this includes jalapeno…), onion, garlic, sugar, along with some green bell pepper (to further emphasize the pepper flavor we assume). These chips left us with a modestly convincing lingering of heat afterwards.
These chips were colorfully coated with both red and green specs. The potato chips themselves were larger, crunchy, kettle cooked with only a little bit of potato flavor able to shine through…but with seasoning that good, we can live without loads of potato flavor.
To put it simply, these are what we expect when we eat jalapeno flavored chips. Why can’t all brands put out such quality products?
Like we said earlier, these are some of the best jalapeno chips we’ve tasted lately…..in fact, stay tuned because these just might actually be some of the best jalapeno chips we can ever remember tasting.
As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think. Agree or disagree, let us know.
