Comments:

Maybe you’ve tried chocolate covered potato chips, or possibly you’ve tried some sweet peanut butter and chocolate pretzel mix, or maybe you’ve possibly tried chips with a hint of chocolate on them mixed into some flavor like Mole, but none of those compare to the sheer intrepid decision to hold nothing back with these chocolate flavored tortilla chips…..and you know – it works!!!

Far greater than our love for the flavor of these chips, is an overwhelming appreciation for their boundary pushing concept.  The product really is executed perfectly.  At first taste, our mouths were a little perplexed, and really didn’t know what to tell our brains.  Is this dessert?  But, after we had crunched a few more we began to appreciate the salty-bitter, sweetness, and realized these chips tasted exactly of the description on the bag says: semi-sweet chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and sea salt.  The flavors complimenting their oblong rectangular shaped, rich chocolate brown colored corn tortillas very nicely.

Now, we’re going to say that most of us would have to be in a certain mood to want to consume these chips.  These aren’t a bag of chips you enjoy with your sub sandwich, rather they are a special occasion chip.  Put them out at dinner party with the cheese platter, or your dessert tray, and you have an instant conversation starter…..and a tasty salty sweet chip to boot!!

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, “thank you Food Should Taste Good for your boundary pushing imagination!!  We applaud you!”

As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think.  Agree or disagree, let us know.
