BIJOU-REVIEW: International Popcorn – Cheddar Ranch Popcorn

Rating: ©©©© chips  (lip-smacking)

International Popcorn - Cheddar RanchHas popcorn replaced chips as the international favorite salty snack?!?  Well, we’re not sure if popcorn is as popular around the rest of the world but right now, here in the U.S.A. popcorn is booming!!

We know what you are thinking, Chip Review has gone Popcorn Crazy!!  And, we can’t really argue with you, but we also can’t  control the number of new brands and flavors of popcorn that find the market each day!!

We were very impressed with the first bag of International Popcorn’s Everything Bagel flavored Popcorn that we reviewed a while back.  We could only hope that the rest of their flavors were nearly as good!

Luckily, their Cheddar Ranch is lip-smacking as well!!

Really flavorful popcorn, to say the least.  Rich, cheddar cheese coating.  And then the seasoning takes an unusual turn…

A sugary sweetness mingling with lots of garlic.  That’s right, a bright orange, rich and salty, cheddar cheese dusting combined with sweet, pungent garlic!  Weird combo!!  Don’t really taste any ranch, just garlic.

So, we think this popcorn would have been better called Sweet Cheddar Garlic!  But, we see how that flavor doesn’t sound quite as appealing!

Large, toothsome, chewy, very round, white popcorn kernels.

As always, these are our thoughts. Agree or disagree, make sure to let us know.
