These are decent enough chips, but then again Kettle Brand’s Spicy Thai Potato Chips are some of our most favorite chips of all-time so from that perspective these chips probably just have too much to live up to – so we’ll cut them some slack!
Sweet? Yep. They have a decent amount of sugary seasoning on them.
Chili? Ummmm sure. There is a touch of heat present from some type of indistinguishable chili pepper.
Thai? Not so much. We do not really get any of that sweet, sour, salty, bitter combination that we expect from Thai cuisine. None of those staple Thai flavors like ginger, or green onion, or citrus – in particular lime. And certainly nothing that triggers thoughts of exotic far away islands!
The potato chips are wide rippled, thinner, crispy, and slightly greasy. We could eat these all day, but if we had our choice we would go with Herr’s other newer and tastier flavor – Peppered Bacon!!!
