REVIEW: Alaska Chip Company – Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn

Rating: ©©©©-1/2 chips  (lip-smacking)

Alaska Chip Co - Kettle CornDo you like kettle corn?  Well, we here at Chip Review sort of love it.  And by sort of, we actually mean we really love it!  If we had to choose only one style/flavor of popcorn to eat for the rest of our lives kettle corn would be on that short list of contenders we had to choose from!

Just a little while ago we praised the quality of Alaska Chip Company’s Theatre Style Buttered Popcorn, and we are very pleased to say that their Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn is just as lip-smackingly fantastic!  Seriously, just like with their theater popcorn this stuff tastes like the real deal that you would find under a tent at an art fair.  It transported us to a sunny day, in the middle of summer, as we peruse through the vendor stalls filled with art that we could never afford!  BUT AT LEAST WE HAD OUR KETTLE CORN!

Plain and simple, Alaska Chip Company found that perfect balance between salt and sugar, applied it thoroughly, but sparingly to each popcorn kernel.  The sweet and salty combination really tickles the taste buds.  And, somehow, someway, the kettle corn tasted just as fresh as the real deal.   We could not stop eating it.  We did not stop eating it.  We do not have any more.

As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think. Agree or disagree, let us know.
