REVIEW: Kernel Season’s – Original Crunchin’ Kernels

Kernel Season's - Original Crunchin' KernelsFirst, there was Gladcorn.  The original corn trail blazer!

Next, came Pop’d Kerns with “a corn crunch like no other!”

Heck, even Trader Joe’s tried their hand at a couple of ‘Partially Popped Popcorns’.

And now, Kernel Season’s Crunchin’ Kernels are joining the “half-popped popcorn” club!

In other words, more of the same old delicious thing.  Really, there is not a single thing new that we can tell you about these Crunchin’ Kernels that we haven’t already told you in our reviews of their predecessors.  The crunchy corn hybrid snack rests somewhere between a light and fluffy, fully-popped kernel of popcorn, and an extra hard and crunchy corn kernel snack like Corn Nuts.

The Original flavor Crunchin’ Kernels deliver a ton of corn flavor.  Although the below words were written in regards to Pop’d Kerns’ Original flavor, the exact same can be said for Kernel Season’s as well.

In our opinion…..Original flavor are far and away the best example of their crunchy snack.  No seasoning to cover up the naturally delicious corn essence.  Just an ample dusting of good old salt, that perfectly compliments the corn.  Less is more in this case.

So, for those of you looking for a corn snack with a little more crunchy body than popcorn, but won’t necessarily chip a tooth; and you don’t mind if it feels a little bit like you are eating some cattle feed, then Kernel Season’s Crunchin’ Kernels may be the crunchy corn snack for you!

As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think.  Agree or disagree, let us know.
