We crossed paths with this popcorn while visiting St. Louis a couple of weeks back.
That’s right, just some random bag of white cheddar cheese popcorn named after a famous prison…. we kid. Named after a bay in California (we assume).
Honestly, we can’t find anything about this popcorn on the internet…
The popcorn itself was pretty good.
Full sturdy body to the popcorn. Not your super light and crispy. These kernels had some meat and chew to them.
The white cheddar cheese seasoning was both white, and tasted sufficiently like cheddar cheese powder; so, win-win.
As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think. Agree or disagree, let us know.

Do not adjust your dial, or screen….
It is true, your eyes are not deceiving you….
These are in fact RADISH flavored chip!
Now, we’ve been in the chip game a long, long time, but this is definitely a new first. Sure, there have been plenty of other weird flavors out there; we’re looking at you beet, and cappuccino, and feijoada, and marmite, but radish is right up there with the weirdest of them!
Unfortunately, we have tasted much better chips from The Better Chip company.
Now, these are not bad tortilla chips by any means. They deliver a rustic, course ground corn tortilla texture that mingles with the little nutty pop of the chia seeds.
They also provided a perfectly ample amount of salt and garlic seasoning.
What the chips did not do was exude any sort of radish AT ALL! Nada! Nunca!! Nothin’!!!
To say that we were disappointed by these would be absolutely correct. We were really hoping to taste some pungently spicy radish flavored tortilla chips. Alas, we will just have to wait for some better chips to actually do that!
As always, these are our thoughts, we would love to hear what you think. Agree or disagree, let us know.

Apparently, we rather enjoyed Lay’s lip-smacking Flamin’ Hot Potato Crisps when we reviewed their original variation nearly four years ago…
Lay’s has now followed Chester’s lead, and taken their Flamin’ Hots, and XTRA-fied them.
Unfortunately, just like with Cheetos original Flamin’ Hots, the XTRA sequel version falls short of the classic.
That being said, they do still bring a lot of that unmistakable Flamin’ Hot flavoring!
And, they most certainly, without a doubt, bring a lot of XTRA heat on them.
The inner curve side of the crisps are absolutely caked with a thick layer of electric red Flamin’ Hot powder.
The seasoning and the potato crisps do not jive in harmony the way that other Flamin’ Hot snacks have.
In the end, if you like spicy chips, and you are already a fan of Lay’s Stax, then you are certainly going to like these.

Do you like chips?
Do you think you would like crab flavored chips??
Well, for the most part, we here at Chip Review do not necessarily enjoy eating sea-food flavored chips. We just don’t love the combination of chips, with the flavors of the sea, or sea creatures.
Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate when a company puts forth some chips that, despite our disgust with them, are impressively accurate.
Paldo’s Crab Chips taste like shrimp that have been sprinkled with a light dusting of sugar. Their seafood essence is impressively spot on!
The chips themselves are of an unusual variety. An odd puffed wheat creation. Sort of like a cheese puff crossed with a Popchip.
Well, there you have it. Anyone else out there tried them yet? Thoughts? As always we would love to hear what you think. Agree or disagree. Let us know.

Lightly salted popcorn is right.
Really, not much more to say.
Light, airy, crispy, bright white kernels.
Very little fat content, and lightly salted.
Uncle Ray’s popcorn is perfectly snackable, if you are looking for any something to crunch on; but it is certainly nothing special, and also nothing we would be choosing over most other RTE popcorn on the market.
These are our thoughts. Let us know if you agree or not.
