Guess what these chips taste like? If you said “hot dogs w/ a whole lot of mustard and a little bit of ketchup”……well, then you are correct!!
We’re not exactly sure how they did it, but Herr’s has created some very heavily seasoned, salty, crispy potato chips that really do remind us of the flavors of hot dogs. They don’t exactly remind us of the dogs we are used to in the Chicago area. They are missing a few of our favorite key components (ie. pickles, raw onions, sport peppers & celery salt).
But if you are used to enjoying your hot dogs with just the old stand-byes of ketchup and mustard, then these are some great summer chips for you.
Can’t make it to the store to buy some dogs for tonight?
Weather isn’t cooperating and it is storming outside?
Too much work to pull out, and fire up, the old Bar-B-Q?
