A couple of years ago we reviewed some Pringles and declared the following:
THESE ARE DELICIOUS!! These are Pringles, and they are delicious!!! We checked our records and we can confirm that these are without a doubt, the most daring, boundary pushing and flavorful Pringles we have ever encountered! Plain and simple, Chip Review feels that these are the best Pringles ever!!
We are happy to report that those Chile con Queso Pringles do still remain at that top spot. So, why do we bring them up you ask? Well, because these Chipotle Cheese Pringles remind us a lot of those wonderful delicious Pringles. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if they are practically the same flavor, with maybe only the slightest tweak, or two (or maybe none?). With all that being said, why would these Chipotle Cheese crisps get a slightly lower rating than those Chile con Queso crisps? Well, similar to the Doritos Nacho Cheese, or the Cheetos Original Crunchy conundrums; we begin comparing items, and flavors, that are alike, and unless the new chip, crisp, or puff elevates beyond the delicious original, we cannot rate them as highly.
So, rather than waste any time or energy on writing a witty new review, let us simply tell you that if you are looking for a review of these Chipotle Cheese Pringles, than you can read our review for the Chile con Queso Pringles. You can imagine that these taste very, very similar, and it is plausible to assume that these crisps have a slightly smokier background chile flavor, and maybe not quite the complex range of flavor profiles that those Chile con Queso crisps encompassed. However, without tasting the two side by side we really cannot pinpoint those differences! If you were among the lucky people who tried, and liked, the Chile con Queso crisps during their limited time, then we are happy to report that you will like these as well!!

This is an awful Chopin my opinion. It tastes like very hot cardboard. I’m not sure when the above review was written, but they must have changed the flavor since then, because mine were set to expire a year from now and were still god awful. I kept eating them thinking, surely, “I’ll get used to the tase and it’ll be really good”, but they just kept getting saltier and the salty taste was overwhelming. There’s not really much cheddar to it. I just had the cheddar cheese Pringles, and they were very much a cheese taste. But these. These were just overspiced plain chip.
